How do I treat my annual Ageratums that have mold centers

I have put one blue Annual ageratum plant in ea of my haning planters and they are getting moldy in the centers.  I live in Massachusetts where we have have rain almost every day for the past 3 weeks and not a lot of sun.  My Blue ageratum (1 plant ea) are in the front of ea. pot with 1 verbena and 1 lobelia plant.  The other plants are doing great but the centers are becoming brown and turning black.
