Dying a baby pine tree

Question

The needles at top and sides are getting brown and  dry.

I watered it;  no  need for water.

I uprooted it from the wild and brought it to Toronto,  planted it in the yard.

It has half a day sun.

It MIGHT have something bitting it or boring into the bark....it needs to be sprayed with sevin..............wear protection clothing, goggles, hat, gloves and read instructions and follow guidelines.....................keep children & pets away from it until it dries..............in the fall dormant oil....................these trees are fighting off bore bugs. Did you observe which light the tree was surviving in when you found it....morning or afternoon sun?
