I have two Vanderwolf pines about 15 feet apart. One is thriving and the other one looks like it is dying. It is drooping and some of the needles are turning brown starting at the tips. We have had a lot of wind coming from the south and now all the branches are heading north. We have also had two months of rain in the forecast nearly every day. The only other thing different is that the other tree has a slight slope in front of it where the dying one is planted on more level ground. It has put on the start of the pine cones at the tips but it has done nothing since then where the thriving one has grown out about 7 or 8 inches. We planted these last year and they both looked great until a month or so ago. We live in Southwestern Missouri. Please help! I need information quickly before it dies.
