It is an indoor / outdoor fig tree that was separated into to big pots. They were both fertilized and did very well outside this summer. they both produced an abundance of fruit, which never matured and stayed green on the trees. We just recently brought them in to protect them from frosty nights. I just read an article that said we could prune them, tie the branches with cloth to the main trunk, cover the top with newspaper and burlap and place them in the basement for the winter. Should we trim off the fruit as well?
