No, you will need to bring them in before winter. If you want to winterize them make sure to get them out of the garden before the first frost. Dig out the entire root and shake off any dirt from the roots. Lay them in your garage or slightly warmer area for 3 or 4 days to dry. After they are dry, place the entire plant in a paper bag. You can hang them with plant hangers in a storage closet in a basement. In the spring, February or March, you can plant them again with fresh potting soil. Although they may look dead, they should come back nicely.
