A peach tree was grown from a pit of a colorado peach. After 3 years, it produced fruit that was of good size and tasted just like the colorado peaches you buy at markets. But, this year (2 yrs later) the fruit peaches were the size of plums and in clusters. The tree was loaded with them and weighted the branches down so that I thought they would break. We picked them when they seemed ripe, but they were so small. I've never seen a peach tree that grew peaches in clusters as this one did. (like grapes only larger). I was just trying to find out what would've caused them to grow as they did this year, when years before they were perfect size and not clustered. Thanks for your answer.
