Why are my cucumber plants, leaves turning yellow & drying up mid season every year ?

dieing leaves, turning yellow then brown then drying up. This happins every year using different seed.

For us I have found that they need more water than the rest of the garden and when it rains and the leaves are still wet they will die off if you touch them.

This fall went you pull our the plants.....turn some cow or horse manure in with some lime to sweeten the soil.....next year when you plant put some layers of newspapers down on each side of the seeds and I use grass clippings and a couple of rocks to hold it all down.  This keeps the ground more moist.  I also keep a fence for them to climb on.  I don't rotate them they like to be in the same place every year.
