How do I cure ganoderma root rot on my mesquite trees?

We have lost two mesquite trees to this root rot.  I have several more that heve disk like mushrooms on the lower trunk.  What can I do to prevent losing them?

this is in the fungus family.....sounds like too much water....................check with the lawn & garden store to see what they have for fungus problems on trees.  can you use gloves to take off the mushroom and trash them in bags.

you need medical grade hydrogen peroxide............2 1/2 tablespoons per gallon water.......mix only when going to use it.....do on day with no wind....use long old clothes, mask, goggles, hat and gloves.............don't save any...........use it all

keep children and pets away while spraying and until it is dry..........................I pray that this works for you...................do the worse one first...........then do the rest......
