What are some natural remedies to repel groundhogs from my garden ? Is it true that bananas can be used ! Heard several people say this...wondered if true !

I've heard and have tried with success putting cut hair (from a beauty shop) around whre you do not want the groundhogs.

We also have a ground hog problem................we filled the hole in with glass bottles and then rocks and dirt......I saw something in a book that you stick in the ground and it hums.  Try the bananna peels.....I use them to keep dogs away from my trees....they also work on the base of the rose bush the gas from the bananna makes the roses have beautiful blooms.  You also could use a save--a-heart trap and move them 10 miles from your property.

you could try straight vinegar in every hole with the hair and plug them up with glass bottles and then stones and then dirt and tramp on it those holes are dangerous to children & pets who could break a leg in one of them.  They also do not like castor oil with hot sauce mixed into it.
