How can I get rid of these weeds/plant in my yard?

Grows  back every year.

Grows to a height of 5-6 feet

Stems are smoot hollow pruple/green color.  The leaf is green.  There is no flower.  Dies down to nothing in the winter.  The root system is deep.  Even if I pull it or use weed killer it grows back.

can you use gloves and cut it.....pour full strenth vinegar in the hole ...keep doing that for several days................it will die......put a heavy rock over it for the winter to keep any light getting thru to let it live again.  the grass around it will die off for a short while but if you use an old pointed tip container like a squirt bottle to control the vinegar than less of the grass will die.....this is the safest thing to use.....won't hurt children or pets.  When it dies off for the winter.....see if you can dig up the roots......then heavy vinegar,  I saw a stronger dose of vinegar at Walmart 6% cleaning vinegar.

You can also pull the weed up by the roots just before the New moon, the water level is farther from the earth then, and weeds will not come back until the full moon, and most likely by then they won't either... I plowed my garden this year just before the new moon at the darkest time, and even though we have had plenty of rain this year, I have had virtually no weeds. People think that I have sprayed for weeds, my garden is so clean.. I till at the New moon each month, and that is all I have to till..
