the deer ate most of the leaves off my holly bushes this winter. Will they regrow to their former fullness?

The general opinion among people I have spoken to has been that holly doesn't grow back. However, my bushes have sprouted some leaves. I want to know if I can expect them to completely recover. Anyone have any experience with this typw of situation with holly?

I would wait until the sun goes down and the tree cools off and mix up 2 tablespoons DAWN with 2 or 3 drops of hot sauce and spray.............everytime it rains spray again.............they don't like this..............you might have to put a 5 or 6 ft fence around this until it grows back, this is a slow grower..........if you live near a local zoo...........see if you can buy some predator dung........some of them sell it............the deer hate it...............
