how do you propagate mango tree cuttings and avocado trees?

That's it.  That is the full question.  How can I make a mango tree out of a cutting...

Also, can I propagate a cutting from a avocado tree instead of a seed?  I have a good little tree growing from a seed, however, I've been told that getting avacados will be much quicker, like 10 years quicker, if I start by a cutting.  Is this true?

I have read up on grafting, which I will do, once I get two different cuttings grown in to trees to be (which I had been advised) at least the circumfrance of a pencil.
