Yuk, but disgusting as it might be, most insects & larva are quite nutritious. More to the point, any crop grown in the open can become infested with bugs, fungus, and a host of other ailments. Most reputable farmers would not knowingly sell such spoiled produce, so you should get your money back, or at least let your vendor know of the issue. That said, it is certainly possible that frozen veggies can be infested, but the flash-freeze processors have their own in-coming & out-going inspections as well, cutting the possibility even more. In my life (60+yrs) I've had my share of bad produce, but I survived (so far) and so will you, perhaps with a little more appreciation for the many hands that prepare our food.
