Leaves turnig yellow and falling off the plant

I planted two yellow hibiscus trees a month ago. I planted them in the ground and water themm regulary. Should I cut them back to promote new groth?

Yes, you might want to consider trimming your plant and less wattering.  The trimming of the plant will promote more growth, but if the leaves are turning yellowe and then falling off, you are allowing the plant to drown with water, try wattering 1/3 less than your notmal, if that solves the problem after a two week obversation peiod then you will be okay. If it doesn't solve the problem, then cut back the water a little more, and continue this method until it seems that the plants leaves are beginning to heal.
