Something is eating the edges of my olive tree leaves.

Question

They are tiny little half moon nibbles all along the edges of the leaves.  I would like to try to identify the source so I can control it.

after sun goes down, mix 1 teasp kitchen liquid soap & 1 qt water & spray

You did not mention how high they are biting the leaves........it could be deer........

If it spring time there, check on the container of dormant oil to see if you can use it before the flowers open.  Keep spraying according to the directions up until the bud opens...........once it opens only do the trunk as you need the bees.  also plant some flowers to keep the bees, butterflies and hummingbirds coming....they love red & orange flowers.
