If you water it around the bottom and mist the top, it will stop drooping. It just needs water because the sun is beating down on it. Your plant is perfectly normal and will NOT die so don't worry. Water it at the bottom and mist it. You will need to do this daily if it is planted in a sunsetting position. Remember, it needs plenty of sun; but, the afternoon/evening sun really sucks it to death. NEVER water during the day...always early morning or late evening!! Also for a test, do not water one day and notice that although it is drooping, the night dew will make it perk up AGAIN.!! It is better NOT to let the soil underneath become DRY!! Good luck and these plants are just beautiful. Right before the first frost, you can trim it all the way down and next spring, it will pop out again FRESH!!
