Home owners away for more than a week and came home to damaged and maybe dying 30 ft avacado tree. It is near an airport could a plane have dumped their tank on it or could this be a disease .It is in Seminole county near the St. Johns river. Several years ago they left on vacation and returned to the tree totally stripped of the fruit.
In 2004 hurricane Charlie toppled the tree the owners tried to right it but could notand it grew back up from its branches on the ground. This huge tree supplies a significant source of food in season for this family.
The leavesare dead and fruit and maybe the branches also.
