What causes tomato vine/leaf to wilt and dry up?

The bottom of my tomatoes, for the last few years look great at first and they begin to bloom and put on tomatoes, however it seems as the weather becomes warmer/hot the bottom limbs, leaves dry up and die.  This goes up the vine and does not seem to harm the tomatoes but the vine then completely dries out.  This is both in the open garden and in pots.  It does no matter how much water you provide the plant or anything that I have found for blite.

blight would have a black color on it..............did you amend your soil when you planted with mulch, old horse or cow manure, lime, hay or straw............do this for next growing season

for now you could mix up 1 teasp liquid soap w 1 qt water and spray the plants.............
