Is it alright to cut off the very top flower heads of Hydrangeas after winter if they have not fallen off? Also I have had good luck with hydrandeas for many years. I live in MI. the last two winters have been very cold &windy, We had a very bad ice storm the year before last and they did not hardly bloom at all!! The foliage was good and green and was full of foliage, Most of them were Endless summer ones and some others in like them. They usually are full of blooms, mixed colors, some mixed on one bush. My Limelights, Annabells and Annaballs. Invisiable Spirit did well!! I also have two that start out white than pink than a darker pink almost red large cone shape flowers and fairly tall did good too!! They are budding on all of them but wondering if the dead flowers heads will stop them from blooming? Thank You Very Much!!
