while in Arizona a cactus in the resort we were in was trimmed and we took about a one foot section of the saguaro and put it in a totally empty pot. Before too long, little green babies starting forming on the outside of the larger piece. We took it home to Washington State (still just sitting in an empty pot) and the "babies" are now the size of an orange. Is there any way we can plant these? Weather has been nice here all summer but winter is coming and we need to do something before then. Anyone have any ideas?
