We have six beautiful vines of morning glory plants we bought from a nursery this spring. They are abundant and spreading, but as of today, we have not had one flower or bud produced. I have been told that there are two genders of plant, and that the male does not produce flowers. The vines grow about 6 inches a day in all directions and have no blight or diseases showing. What are the odds that all six would be the same gender? Mendel would know, I'll bet.
Thanks in advance for any info you might be able to share.
