We have a dwarf peach tree. Every year the peaches are bored through by some type of bug long before they are even ripe. This is the first year we've gotten a large crop of peaches.. well over 100 on the one tree, but they all have holes bored into them that make them look like they're oozing. I noticed earwigs and some type of small worm on some of them. We picked the tree clean of peaches. Only about 10 of them might be able to be saved if they ripen off the tree. All the others are disgusting. HOw do I get rid of these insects? How do I prevent this from happening to next year's crop? Are any of them safe to eat?
