Hi,
I have a large patch of the plant called snow on the mountain around a large white pine tree in my yard. It usually looks just beautiful and makes a circle around the tree. Recently, it has begun to die out, turning a dark rust brown color, and spreading all around the area. So far, there is about l/3 of it that hasn't browned down, but I fear it is going to spread over all. I haven't had this happen before in all the years it has been there. Is there something I can do to save it? We live in central New York State, and had a very severe winter this year.
