Brown beetles are eating my butterfly bush and now my hibiscis. How do I get rid of them?

What do I use to get rid of a what looks like a brown beetle? they are eating the leaves of my butterfly bush and now my hibiscus leaves? help.

for today after the sun goes down mix 2 tablespoons dawn with 1 qt water mix & spray after the sun passes over..............in the mean time they sell beetle bags..........set them up down wind from your plants...............when the bags fill up...........tie them off and lay them in the sun..........then bag & trash them.  also check to see what other spray that they have to get under the leaves with...........has to be done again after a rain.  Because we had a very bitter cold winter the bugs are going to be very bad this year.
