The hedge is dying off in patches - the bark seems to have white spots of fungus on the dead branches. What can I use to kill the fungus and bring the hedge back to being healthy? I have cut the hedge back but there are still dead patches.
The Mayday tree seems to have a black fungus attacking the branches. The first year I cut off the affected branches but now there are more patches this year. Can I spray something on the tree to kill the fungus as the new patches are too high for me to cut off anymore.
I have purchased Malathion but have not sprayed them yet as it does not say anything about fungus - just bugs.
