I have a gardenia that has been in a large pot outside for 3 years. This last winter it seemed to have frozen. When checking for life I noticed small leaves coming up from the bottom of the branches. I finally cut the branches off to right above where the leaves were coming out. Now it seems to be taking off growning again but it needs to come out of the pot. It has great memory value for me and I don't want to lost it.
Where is the best place to plant it. In the sun, shade, partial sun/shade. We live on a farm so have plenty of places to plant it. I just need to make sure it gets everything it needs to survive and not get hit by another hard winter.
thank you for any help you can give me.
