About 5 years ago we had a storm that caused a lot of branches to break and stay within the tree foliage. Three years ago I had a tree service remove the dead branches and trim the limbs that broke. Then over the past year we had a drought and cause severe stress on the tree. I was watering daily for about 15 to 20 minutes a day and gave it miracle grow plant fertilizer. It seem to pick up and there were a couple of small areas that sprouted new growth. I would like to fertilize it beginning with this year and continue the daily watering. Our soil is a bit on the sandy size.
I think the tree is dying and I should have paid attention to it sooner. Is there anything that I could do that would turn it around?
