We have a 60' lawn which is exposed to the street. We do have a downward slope with cedars and firs also between the lawn and the street, but still wish for more privacy. I'm thinking of creating a simple trellis via poles every so many feet and some wire possibly both horizontally and some vertically.
I'm also considering Virginia creeper or scarlet runners (as then of course we can eat as well as get some screening). The soil is a little bit of clay and otherwise sort of average I guess ...
I'm wondering about what vine for screening. In another area we have silver lace, so I suppose I could consider that as well. Do you have any suggestions?
