I purchased 2 beautiful Hydrangeas a few days ago. I brought them home and watered them.  Each plant was a combination of blooms and buds.  While I was at work yesterday, my daughter decided they were looking a bit wilted so she put them outside (without my knowledge of course) and I found them this morning IN THE FROST.  The blooms are all brown and wilted and the leaves are dark and sagging. Do I need to cut them down now or something? Can they be saved? :(

Bring them inside and add 1 cup of 2% milk to each of their soil, pour at the base of the stem, do not water for at least 2 days.  Grandually provide heat to each plant, do not set them close to the stove or they will die, keep these plants at least 2' from the stove.  They might survive, only time will tell.
