I have different types of ixoras growing in my Florida yard, many of which are the singapore variety. There is a light green/gray spider-plant looking parasite plant growing on the branches and a green mold starts on the branches. The leaves are turning yellow and then the branches lose their leaves and become brittle and break off dead. I have sprayed with fungicide and that seems to have slowed down the parasite plants, but I see them re-growing. I have picked them off the plants and when I threw them on the ground, they seem to regenerate so now I am throwing them in the yard waste. I need some kind of home remedy to mix and spray since the prepared products are expensive. I have not been able to find out know what these parasite plants are, so any help would be appreciated. My ixoras also have the black film on the leaves, but I am not sure that is from the parasite because when I did not have the parasite, the leaves were still black. Any help or information about this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. MGK
