how far do I prune my hibiscus after clearing a white fly infestation.

My hibiscus has been traumatized by the white fliy infestation.I soap washed it and hosed it down.I killed off most of the flies. It has damage from the infestation, black spot mold, leaves are yellow with spotty green.  It is pretty big and has suckers on it. I dont know where to prune it and if I should leave some of the suckers on the bush. It has some healthy looking leaves thats why I want to prune it down.Is it too late for my plant? It is a potted tropical hibiscus.
