Where did my red spider lily plants come from?

I have lived on this property for over 20 years and have never had a spider lily plant on the property during that time. There are no other spider lily plants in the area that I know of. We are no where near a river or pond. This year 2 bunches of red spider lily plants appeared. One is at the front of the property and the other is approximately 500 feet away in a different direction with structures in-between them. I do not have any idea how or where these came from. Can you give me any assistance on this mystery. I deem it a reward for being a steward of the area and trying to be in sync with nature. Thanks.
