Do this tonight..........................check the plant every day to see if you see anything.....also use a weak vinegar water solution if the area where you keep that plant is washable.........bugs don't like that solution. I would wait until the fruit is harvested to trim the tops in the fall to late fall when it is much cooler.
I am so sorry, I did not realize that it is an indoor plant. They do have spray at the lawn & garden store that is already made if the dawn & water is not working. Because it is so cold out. I would spray it in the shower or tub and then wash the tub out after it finishes drying. I would not trim until the bugs are controlled. Make sure to get under the leaves carefully.
