I recently bought a used Ronco hydrator from Amazon, but it has no instruction booklet.    I have several pounds of local peaches that I'd like to dehydrate and would like to know how to prepare them and how long I should leave them in there.  I do have citric acid to dilute in water to rinse them first.

Also, can I combine different types of food on separate racks at the same time, i.e. herbs on one, peaches on another, apples on another, etc.?  I realize they'll not all finish drying at the same time, and I'd have to check them.

Any tips would be helpful.  Thanks.

You might find that missing paperwork on line under the company name..........but that is the safest way to do it is  wash, peel and slice it thin into a container with water & lemon juice......only need a little lemon.  That stops it from changing color........let the peaches sit in that until you are ready to put them on the rack.......you can do several kind of fruit on different racks......do them single layer not touching.  After overnight you have to check them.  And to keep them from going moldy, I bagged & put them into freezer bags and into the freezer.

Thank you, thank you.  Your answer was so helpful!  In the meantime, I did eventually find a PDF version of the User Guide.
