To dry them I just let them dry on the vines and they turn off white.....then I brought them up to the porch and shelled them and put the dried lima's into clean dry 1 gallon jars..............to freeze them you have to blanch them in hot boiling water for a few minutes to stop the growing process and then drain them and put them into an ice bath.............then I drained them again and put them on a towel to drip dry and on to a tray to freeze......then I bagged them easier to get out what you want.
