When I first got my small, Celeste fig tree at the beginning of summer, it was about a foot tall, fluffy with green leaves an even had a few green figs. Then a heat wave came through about the time I had a busy weekend and my fig got too hot and dry when I forgot to water it. All the leaves and developing figs fell off. I was faithful to get back and stay on my watering schedule. Now my fig looks great and is leafing out quite a bit. It has no figs yet and I am sure it won't until next spring. Since it is growing so much now, I would like it to have every chance to have plenty of growing room until cold temps set in. I want it to have every chance to make it successfully through the winter.
