It gets real mushy when you freeze it raw..........only way it worked for us was in Vegetable beef soup.....I cut the cabbage thin and threw it in at the end and just let it cook..................let it cool after dinner and froze it into plastic containers. You could part boil the leaves and mix up ground beef & rice and roll them and cook them in either tomatoe soup, tomatoe sauce or fresh tomatoes deskinned and cooked.....then you can freeze them............
