What kind of tree has berries that look like a big raspberry, red on the tree but turn black when they fall off ?

It's a big tree... Not a shrub . There are hundreds of berries on the ground and lots of birds are eating them .

The tree with big berries is most likely a MULBERRY tree. They are ok to eat, but not as good as raspberries or blackberries~

Boysenberry (blackberry) lookalikes are usually mulberries which can range from red to black.  Fruit is about one-half to one inch long, as big around as your thumb.  Birds eat the fruit and seeds and trees are spread this way.
Thanx... Good to know ! :)
It's a mulberry tree. I have a huge one, very messy fruit, leaves blood like stains on hands. Berrie can be eaten, very tasty.
