What can be done to stop brown spots on apricots?

What can be done to stop brown spots on Goldcot apricots?  Also, what kind of fertalizer should be used on fruit trees and when?

You should have you ground near that tested...........we have 100 fruit trees.............lime and very old horse manure in early spring.  last fall spray with forman oil for fall spray and again in spring with the same product but for spring service.  Wear old long clothes, hats, gloves, goggles & mask.  Don't spray if it's going to rain or if it is windy.  We spray all the way up to th bud stage, when it opens we only spray the trunk up to the first branch.  I have a sprayer that we attached to the back of a 54 inch tractor.  I use chains on the back wheels of the tractor so that I don't slide.  Keep children & pets away until it dries.  Good luck with your fruit trees.
