How do I control grape vine catepillars or worms?

the worms are smaller than a pencil lead, brown in color and can be a quarter of an inch long. They eat the leaves of the grapevine.

mix up 1 teasp non-alcohol liquid soap W 1 qt water and after the sun passes over..........coat both sides of the leaves and stems.......................do it again if you see them.......................after it rains do it again.................
