It can be done, but to prevent shock to the plant, when watering in the morning use luke warm water, wait for 30 - 45 minutes before digging up the plant and then use luke warm water in the hole of the new planting spot.  Wait 24 hours before watering the transplanted plant, and again use luke warm water - and you should be fine.
