I have wild blackberries, or possibly black raspberries, coming up all around the edges of my partially wooded backyard.  In a totally uncared for state the fruit is about as big around as my little finger.  If I transplant them into rows where they will receive regular waterings and be mulched with compost and pinestraw will the berries get bigger and juicier?  Can they be treated like domestic raspberries as far as the support structure for rows?
